Notice of Upcoming Road Reconstruction Projects

Please be advised that the Town of Ixonia’s contractor, Kartechner Brothers, will soon begin a comprehensive road reconstruction project.

Affected Areas:

• Marietta Avenue (From Highway 16 to Swansea Drive)

• River Street

• Winterberry Lane

• Preserve Park Drive (From Fieldcrest Court to the northern terminus)

• North Avenue

  

Project Schedule:

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The project is expected to take approximately four (4) weeks to complete, subject to weather conditions. Work will be staggered across the different locations throughout this timeframe.

Traffic Restrictions & Access:

• The affected roads will be closed to general through traffic during construction.

• Access will be preserved for local residents and businesses, though minor delays should be expected.

• Important: Temporary total closures will occur during active paving operations.

Motorists are asked to plan alternative routes and make travel adjustments accordingly. The Town of Ixonia appreciates your cooperation and patience while these necessary infrastructure improvements are completed.
