Road Work Notice: Marietta Avenue, Hillendale Dr., and Division St.

The Town of Ixonia has contracted Kartechner Brothers for upcoming road reconstruction projects affecting the following areas:

Marietta Avenue

  • Timeline: Tentative start August 18, 2025; completion expected by early October (weather dependent).

  • Closures: Marietta Avenue will be closed to through traffic during construction, with local access only. Full closures will occur during culvert replacements—please plan travel accordingly.

  • Mailboxes:

    • W1009–W1057 ➡ relocated to Hunter Lane

    • W1102–W1194 ➡ relocated to Lewis Lane

    • Mailboxes will be returned to original locations after work is completed.

Marietta Project Detour and Closures

Hillendale Dr. & Division St.

  • Timeline: Tentative start August 4, 2025

  • Work Scope: Pulverizing and repaving

  • Closures: Roads will remain open to local traffic, except during paving operations when they will be temporarily closed. Exact paving dates will be announced based on weather.

  • Follow-Up: Gravel shoulders will be applied by the Town’s Highway Department following paving.
