ATV/UTV Reminder – Stay on the Roadway!

The Town of Ixonia would like to remind all ATV and UTV operators of the rules in our ATV/UTV Route Ordinance. Recently, our cameras have captured multiple offenders leaving the roadway and causing damage within the town right‑of‑way.

This is not allowed under Town Ordinance 28‑8 and puts the continued privilege of riding on town roads at risk.

Please remember: ATV/UTV operation is restricted to the paved or graveled roadway only. Riding in ditches, shoulders, or off‑road areas is prohibited.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is aware of the ongoing situation.
